David Abolarin uses the information you submit here to provide the requested resource and record your newsletter preference. The form asks for your email address and, optionally, your name.
Resources and newsletter signup
A resource request creates a download link valid for 24 hours. Choosing the newsletter option separately records your email, name, signup date, the consent wording version, and the page where you signed up. Requesting a guide by itself does not subscribe you to the newsletter.
Newsletter requests are saved securely with the website’s hosting service. Email delivery is being prepared; completing the form does not trigger an immediate email. Your information is not sold or used to subscribe you to Foothills mailing lists.
Changing your preference
You can unsubscribe using the link included in future newsletter messages, or contact davida@davidabolarin.com to unsubscribe, correct your details, or request deletion. An unsubscribe record is retained to prevent further mailings to that address.
Substack
Links to my Substack profile open an external service. Following or subscribing there is handled by Substack; this website does not automatically transfer your signup details to it.
Site operation
The website uses temporary request limits to reduce automated form abuse. These use an hourly hashed network identifier, rather than storing the raw IP address in the signup database. The hosting provider may process technical logs to operate the service.
Speaking and advisory enquiries open your email application and are sent only when you choose to send them there.
